Rachel puts down soft blankets to welcome our surgery patient. The bed is sprayed with a pheromone spray, reminding them of their mother’s smell.
She will then ask “Alexa” to play “Calming Music for Pets”.
Upon admission, we give our patients a welcoming ‘cocktail’ to make their visit enjoyable. These medications calm them so they can relax quickly. Romeo is a very willing participant!
Upon admission, Romeo received a welcoming ‘cocktail’ to make his visit more positive. He is relaxing while “hanging out” with us.
Every patient has an IV catheter placed. It allows us to give IV fluids and to reverse our sedatives, if necessary, for another level of safety.
Under direct veterinary supervision, Mariah starts the anesthesia process for Romeo. She is dedicated to providing the safest anesthesia experience for your pet, like she has been doing for others over the last 9 years. She is our Certified Veterinary Technician with a 2-year college degree.
After a successful surgery, Romeo wakes up quickly, calmly and happy. He has been monitored closely in his cozy room. Now, he is ready to go home!
